DateHookup is a C# / .NET Website operated by OkCupid. As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing and building the interface that millions use to meet new people. You’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing new and existing features on the DateHookup site.

What you’ll do

• Write straightforward, maintainable code in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Work with smart, collaborative people who are passionate about online dating
• Play a big role in redesigning DateHookup
• Think up and execute new features (and improve existing ones)
• In short, help turn DateHookup from an okay product into an amazing product

What you need to land an interview

• Experience working in a collaborative development environment (if you’re from another high-traffic site, even better!)
• Serious knowledge of JavaScript, even without libraries
• You dream in CSS and you know all of the tricks (the IE-saving ones too)
• Familiarity with Windows .NET front-end development
• Experience with SVN or Git

• You’re a technical problem-solver with a great design skills
• You’re meticulous, but still able to iterate quickly
• You have a portfolio (which you probably built yourself) of projects you’ve worked on
